HERB LUBALIN
This brochure is designed to be an accompanying piece for viewers to receive after listening to a seminar at the DesignTO exhibition. It contains sourced articles and interviews pertaining to the work and life of Herb Lubalin.
The brochure is a depiction of what can be created when only using typographic elements. It demonstrates what can be achieved when confined by a significantly limited set of content and design elements.
Adopting Herb Lubalin’s style, the reader sees exaggerated punctuation marks, symbols and glyphs. Pull quotes and patterned glyphs also compliment the body copy. These design features compensate for the minimal use of elements and add to the dynamics of the pages.
